Wrapped in mists and shrouded in mystery, coffee from the Gungegiri Estate has been winning awards and hearts for years. Owned by Sangameshwar Coffee, the farm is more or less isolated, accustomed to following older traditions, allowing for minimum use of chemicals and stressing on preserving the purity of the environment and the ecosystems.
Sipping on a cup of Gungegiri is like watching an artist unleash his or her hidden talent to produce a stunning canvas. A brushstroke of warming fruits here, shadows of almonds; blanched and toasted & whispers of wild honey. The final image, a balance of brightness with the warmth redolent of a log fire on a cold winter’s night.
